Imagine having thousands of products in your store, each with several photos. Every one of those photos should have an ALT text, a short description that tells search engines what the image shows. Most stores skip it. And that is exactly why their competitors are picking up visitors from Google Images while they are not.

This module fixes that once and for all. Simply set up a template using variables like product name, category and manufacturer, and the module fills in the correct ALT texts for every image automatically. All at once. For each language separately. Without opening a single product manually or touching any PrestaShop core file.

Before anything is saved to the database, you can preview all the changes. You see exactly what will be updated and what will stay as it is. Only when you are satisfied do you confirm the run. And if you ever decide to go back to the original texts, just click Restore and everything returns to the state it was in before the optimisation.

Module processes images in batches, so it will not overload even a budget hosting environment. You set the batch size yourself. The whole process runs in the background and you can monitor progress directly from the admin panel. A full history of every optimisation run is available in a clear log at any time.

Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7 through 9, works in multilingual stores and does not modify any core files. Installation is straightforward, uninstallation leaves no trace. The module is translated into Slovak, Czech, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
