When someone is browsing your store and considering whether to buy a product, the first thing they usually look for is what other customers have to say about it. Not marketing copy, not pretty photos. Real experiences from real people. That is exactly why reviews are today one of the most powerful things any online store can have.

Product Reviews PRO is a module for PrestaShop that allows customers to write reviews directly on the product page. Anyone can rate a product with stars and write a short or longer text depending on what comes to mind. Reviews are displayed clearly, can be sorted by date or by star rating and are paginated so that even a large number of reviews never overwhelms the product page.

As a store owner you have full control over the entire process. You can enable moderation, which means no review will appear until you approve it yourself. If someone writes something inappropriate or misleading, you simply do not approve it and customers will never see it. You can also set that only customers who actually purchased the product are allowed to leave a review. Such verified purchases are specially marked on the review, giving other shoppers confidence that they are reading a genuine experience, not something made up.

A new feature in this version is the ability to reply to reviews directly from the admin panel. If a customer writes a compliment or a criticism, you can simply respond. The seller reply appears directly below the review, showing customers that there is a real person behind the store who genuinely cares about their opinion.

Module also takes care of search engines. It automatically generates structured data according to the schema.org standard, which allows Google and other search engines to display star ratings directly in search results. A result like that catches more attention, gets more clicks and that translates directly into more traffic to your store.

For customer protection the module includes a consent checkbox for personal data processing, which you can show when a review is submitted. You set the consent text yourself and each language can have its own version. The module fully supports multilingual and multi-store environments, so if you run multiple versions of your stores for different countries, everything works without any issues.

Customers and the administrator both receive email notifications. You will be informed about every new review, and the customer will receive a message the moment you approve their review. Basic spam protection is also built in, so no one can flood your store with a large number of reviews in a short period of time.

Module is ready for live deployment and works reliably on PrestaShop versions 1.7 through 9.
